BPI employs a unique process; incorporating social research and technical expertise to develop meaningful design solutions. This approach encourages client/user involvement throughout the entire project from idea formulation through policy and priority programming and design conception and implementation.

 

Barrio Planners takes great concern with the quality of life of people affected by a project and includes provisions of maintaining environmentally conscious solutions in our practice.

 

Founded in 1970, Barrio Planners Incorporated (BPI) began as a non-profit design firm with the mission to provide design and planning service to the underserved needs of the Eastern Los Angeles region. Throughout the growth of our company, BPI has maintained our dedication to the production of quality design of projects, which speak to the community in which they are implemented.

Barrio Planners is a multidisciplinary consulting firm engaged in the practice of:

Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Planning, Programming, Urban Design

BPI services a variety of Markets including project related to:

Transportation, Healthcare, Educational, and Residential,

BPI’s key members hold licenses in Architecture, Landscape Architect and Engineering. Including our Principal members; the BPI team is comprised of innovative designers and supporting staff whose talents and creativity are equally matched by their experience, and dependability. It is these attributes that have given Barrio Planners Incorporated the capacity to undertake intricate projects of any size and complexity.
